Obinna & Nneoma Obiejemba

Drs. Obinna & Nneoma Obiejemba Co-Chairs

Our board comprises distinguished leaders in their respective areas of work — Medicine, education, science, and business. Their vision helps to direct our mission and strategy.

Dr. Obinna Obiejemba has always wanted to be a hand and a voice — a hand to help the infirmed and a voice for the most vulnerable. This led him to academic pursuits and careers in clinical medicine and public health. He has spent nearly two decades working in Managed Care and with vulnerable and complex populations. He champions CAN Obiejemba Family Foundation Inc, advocating its mission to internal and external stakeholders.

Dr. Nneoma Obiejemba is a practicing Allergist and Immunologist in Suburban Washington D.C. She is also a board-certified Pediatrician serving western Maryland. Prior to her post-graduate studies at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Bronx Lebanon Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, both in New York, she completed her medical education and internship in Nigeria, where she led a variety of projects designed to improve health care access and health outcomes in both rural and urban communities, particularly underserved populations including ethnic minorities, impoverished elderly community members, and families.

We are both optimists. We believe by doing these things, focusing on a few small goals at a time, and working with you, we can truly impact the lives of people we touch by giving them a chance to live a healthier and more productive life.
